supercaliwhatjuliscioius?

Hello all!! Now that I have posted pics of us in Hawaii, I will tell you a little bit more about what I have learned in my 10 days here.
All the parking spots are made for compact cars, the highways are small, and all the people on the beach are small (as in skinny). All the speed limits are under 60mph. Native Hawaiians like to keep to themselves. They sell fresh leis in every store. Almost every town name is not pernounce-able. Here they pernounce Ws as Vs and for every syllable there are 3 vowels. For instance, we live in Wahiawa. And that's a simple one. I feel bad for people who have to explain that they live in Piipii street or PuuPuu street. I'm not making this up. The local Hawaiin channels here are fun to watch. Wearing leis is for everyone. There are a lot of Jamacian/Raggae music radio stations here. If you're not wearing flip-flops you are marked as a vacationer. And you can make a lot of money if you buy a house here and live in it for a while.
Speaking of buying a house, we just got pre-approved for a VA loan and are now looking for a house on the island. Houses here are so close together. There's no more land to build anything so all the houses are older and need work mostly. No yards unless you have lots of money and no houses in our price range in towns with businesses like Honolulu. So we are looking and looking and looking some more. Every time we find a house that we like it goes into escrow right away. Houses here are like hot cakes. Everybody is in the market.
For now we are staying on base in the Inn. The Army pays for us to live here for 60 days. That doesn't leave us much time to find a house but we are trying. Everything else is going well. The kids are great. The local library has become our favorite place followed by beaches nearby. We came home from a beach on the North Shore the other day with half the sand from the beach in our swimsuits I swear. We left mounds of sand on the floor. Sand gets in the car, on the floor, trapped in your swim trunks, and definately in your sandals; everywhere it seems.
I do miss the mainland. I miss being able to go to any store you want. I miss restuarants. But mostly I miss the people, my friends. I miss going fast on the highway, parking spaces close to the actual building I'm going to and being cold. I do not miss snow and there is no way to miss green. I love seeing all the natural flowers that bloom here. I love how the weather is perfect here no matter when you walk out the door. I love how the people are big hearted and want to teach you the Hula. I like how you can ask a stranger anything without feeling silly or stupid.
Mostly I like everything here. You'd love it too. We are looking for a house with an extra room so come visit us! Till next time.

HI Pics 3

Tosh loved throwing the sand into the ocean

Samya loved squishing all the sand castles that Ben made.

HI Pics 2

When I looked out the window the first morning in Hawaii, this is what I saw:

Green everywhere, beautiful flowers growing in the parking lot:

isn't this flower interesting? it looks like a humming bird to me.

Our third day here is spent at the beach! Yay!

Tosh loved throwing sand everywhere.

Well i do have more pictures which i will try to post tomorrow. the DLer doesn't seem to be working anymore tonight, so until tomorrow, GOODnight.

HI Pics

hello all! Lets start with photo stories of samya and tosh right before our move.

my little ballerina

Often times Tosh reminds me of Anders!

This picture illustrates the perfect Harmony of our house most of the time. Samya is happy and wild while Tosh is mellow and chill.

Daddy's silly scarey face! Oh no, he's got a knife!

Ok, onto our first day in Hawaii:
Next blog: hawaii in pictures

HI = Hawaii, the Aloha (or hi) state

we did it! We're finally here! I am so excited to be living in heaven! Ok maybe not heaven but paradise, yes! Let me tell you about our trip:
We spent a very late night cleaning up our house the day the packers came to put all our boxes into the truck. we had to borrow a vacuum and some cleaning supplies too. we ended up giving away a lot of food and supplies, like an unopened bottle of laundry detergent because I didn't know that the packers couldn't pack food of any kind, liquids or gels, creams, lotions and nail polish. Yup, a lotta things went to waste becuase I was simply unaware of this. Well they didn't go to waste bc we gave them away but we wasted a lot of money :(
So we spent up until about 1 am cleaning the house. Then we slept on the floors cuz all our stuff was packed on a truck and on its way to Hawaii by then. Needless to say we were more than tired when we woke up at 5 the next morning. We did a whole bunch of last minute errands in the morning. the inspectors came to view our house and said we only had to pay 200 dollars to replace an area in the living room where we couldn't get stains out. we were very happy about not having to pay more!
So off we went on our long journey with a happy start. we left early but took it really slow to start. we saw on Man Vs. Food this resturant called Heids of NY. they have some very special hot dogs and Ben wanted to check them out since we were going through Syracuse on our way anyway. We ate there and fulfilled a little dream of ours.
We took those first two days rather slowly so we could get our sleep. we only drove a few hours, ate well, usually went swimming if the hotel had a pool and then went right to bed. The kids rather enjoyed staying at the hotels. I am not sure if it was bc of the swimming pools, or the free breakfast or the 24/7 attention they get from mom and dad being in one small room with them all the time. But it could be all of the above. They liked it we coudl tell but they were excited for Halloween and excited to see thier cousins. We were excited to see York and Luly along the way and excited to have some home-cooked food!
We made it to York and Luly's house in Wisconsin on Sunday afternoon.  (we left on Friday morning) Driving was made easier by our two little walkie talkies (sp?) which we used all the time to talk to each other. we got lost at one point and those came in handy. we also hit sleet and lots of rain along the way. this was the midwest version of the huge storm that took out power along the east coast. We thought hail/sleet was bad but when we heard what the East coast was going through, we were glad to be leaving. ha! We were always happy to be leaving for Hawaii but then we were glad we missed such fun black-out times. We were sorry to hear about all that happened to people truly. I can't imagine ten days without power (Saren)!
York and Luly's house is so cute, so quaint! We were welcomed with open arms and good food! We talked a lot to my brother and his wife, ate dinner and then put the kids to bed. Then we played atleast an hour of fun games, which Luly beat us quite well at. The next day we took the kids to Chucky Cheeses, our first time ever going there! We had lots of fun! We took the kids to see a firetruck and trick or treat. Then we took a quick trip to the Lands End factory outlet which had 1 dollar shirts! Then we went trick or treating for reals with all the kids. The weather was great, a little chilly after a while but still a great night! The kids were happy, learned quickly to say trick or treat and thank you and it turned out to be quite a successful night! All the kids got lots of candy and the adults earned lots of smiles.
The next morning we left for St George, Utah. we traveled a lot of hours over the next few days and made it to Bens parents house on Thursday afternoon. We stayed at thier house over night the first night there. we took Bens dad and Jordan to lunch at Red Robin the next day. We spent another night at his parents house before traveling an hour south to my parents house in NV. We spent another few days there. We were able to watch In Time with Justin Timberlake, which was good, while my parents watched the kids for us. We played PIP (and no I didn't win, Ben did!) and had lots and lots of good food.
We made ten hours a day driving over the next few days and made it to Washington on time. We dropped off our car at the car port on the 9th, wednesday, and then made our way to the seattle airport. We were at the airport for a while while we waited for the plane but eventually got our 5 1/2 hour flight over with. Samya and Tosh slept most of the way and Ben and I were able to watch Rise of the Planet of the Apes, which was also good. We were so happy to finally arrive in Hawaii and get settled.
It took us a while to get situated, getting a ride to the Inn on base from the airport, getting checked in to our new temporary abode, etc. We got to bed late but boy were we happy when we woke up. We woke up to a sunny room. Look out the window and we see plants, green and lots of green. Just outside our window is a little atrium with totem poles and a waterfall.
Now, about Hawaii as we've found so far:
Green everywhere! Flowers everywhere! The roads are tiny. The houses and buildings are close together like in Europe. The parking spaces are sized for compacts (and we rented a large SUV -cuz thats all they had-its so hard to park). The sky is always blue and beautiful. There is alot of rain here, rain instead of snow, which creates rainbows galore! of course there are beaches around each corner. I'll write more about that later. The temperature is always perfect, from 71-81 degrrees. There is always something to do.
Can't wait to get to the beach and then write all about that. There is so much to do here I'm sure I'll be writing alot soon. I'm so glad you are here reading this. it makes me feel good that someone cares about our lives enough to read about them so thank you! I will post pics from halloween and of HI when I eventually find the cord that goes from the camera to the comp. K, stay well. I'll soak in some sun for you, ok?  see you next time.

update 2

Yay! We finally got our orders from the Army. Turns out they had them since Friday but nobody told us! It just sat in the pile of papers on someones desk while we asked for them eveyday. Oh well. Ben has cleared a lot of the interArmy agencies today. there are a few we have to do last minute. We are going to have the movers come on the 25th and 26th, clean up the house the 27th and leave on the 28th. We are making the trip long so we can stop along the way and won't have to push ourselves. We are stopping at one of my brothers houses and both our parents houses. And of course, anywhere along the way we see that is cool. So thats the latest. See you in Hawaii!! aloha

update

So our current status is unknown. It takes Orders to move to Hawaii and those we don't have. Then you have to take those orders to the transportation office and a few other offices before you can leave. The transportation office needs time to arrange the movers to come to the house, etc. Because of all this, we aren't going anywhere as of yet. We are playing a waiting game now. Hopefully this week we'll get the orders. Then we are hoping the transportation office can set up the movers to come within the week or next week. If not, we are going to defer the orders so that Ben doesn't have to report in HI until the 10th of December (instead of November). If that is the case, we'll be in NY a while longer. :(
We are driving our two cars across the coutry to sell one to Bens parents in Utah. Then on to Seattle to drop off the car and fly to the island.
I vote for leaving now due to the nasty weather here. It's been windy, cold and rainy. Halloween here will be a bust for sure, like it always is in Northern NY on the last day of October. That is usually the day of the first snow fall. Oh well. WE'll survive. I'll be gone for a while after we move, gone until we get the internet up in Hawaii that is. So for now, this is farwell. I'll see you on the flip side. wish us luck!

pics from September

can you say crazy eyes?

Fun with Daddy

Tosh never stopps moving

Joey kissing Samya

Joey is dressed for Halloween

yello

Yello! Long time no talk/see, I know. That's cuz my tab for instant blogspot.com disappeared and also cuz every thing's been swell and unexciting.
Samya is funny as ever. she comes up with funny saying and the quirkiest responses to questions. She makes up songs, dances and plays house with Tosh. She cleans her own room now, gets herself dressed in the most crazy, funny outfits and she is always asking if we can go somewhere. Of course she still asks why? all the time. She also started helping me out in the kitchen making brownies and cake. She sits on the counter cracking eggs, pouring ingredients and stirring.
Tosh is getting so smart. He'll talk to the t.v. and answer all the Dora questions correctly! He says a whole bunch more words now. He puts his own clothes on and struggles daily with putting his shoes on by himself. He tells me when he needs a 'change' of diaper but he is still unwilling to use the toilet.
Benjamin just finished his WLC (warrior leader course) where he learned how to be a Sargent. That took about 3 weeks where he was gone from 5am to 7pm including Saturdays. We are all glad it's over. I posted pictures on Facebook of Ben's re-enlistment ceremony in front of a helicopter. He signed up for another 4 years! What a crazy! anyway, our plans are a little uncertain right now but I'll lay down the general idea. After we move to Hawaii, Ben will have to take the warrent officer/helicopter pilot entrance test which will decide if he can go to warrent officer school and do the whole helicopter career. That will be in February. Then he goes to a board of ppl who decide if he's a good candidate and they have six months to get back to him. Then he'll be gone from the family for a month or so to go to warrent officer school and then we'll all move to where ever he is assigned for schooling.
As for Hawaii, we will find out tomorrow more about moving there. We still need to find out when we are actually moving, how long it'll take our stuff to get there and if we'll spend the estimated two months it'll take to move us, here or there. I hope that makes sense. Ben's first day of work is the last day of November so we'll be in Hawaii by then. I am not sure if we'll have the same phone numbers bc I'm not sure if Verizon has service in HI but there is always FB. So we can email eachother when I finally get the internet again and I'll let you know my number and address.
Ok well I can't think of anything else I can tell you. There's not too much else going on, just all the excitement about Hawaii. Just got Samya a free wakeboard today to use at the beach when we get there. We'll be on Owahu near the capital Honolulu. I'm really glad we'll be close to a big town. Alright. Love you! tty next time.

wanchudi

Last week we got out our mammoth tent and put it up in the front yard. The kids loved it! The dog was running in and out of a small hole in the side (Hole was put in there with a zipper for some unknown reason). I slept outside with the kids for one night. The weather was great and the rood on the tent is mesh so the stars were an awesome ceiling for us. I put down 5 or 6 blankets since we couldn't find the blow up bed. It did no good. I did not sleep at all, I kept tossing and turning and even woke up samya who was sleeping beside me with all the turning I did. I guess that's what I get for sleeping each night in the nicest bed in the world.
Spent some more time with our craiglist friends. Realized how blessed we are and how much we really do have. Got our Prius up and working. Cleaned our house inside and out. put together some puzzles and Ben has his new Xbox games to play that he gets in the mail. I finished my latest James Patterson book called Tick Tock. Nothing else I can think of thats new. ttyl -hgrm

Sunday, July 3, 2011

Yesturday we had another, our last, day of yard sale. we made the same amount of money so we are happy with our results. we packed up all we didn't sell and put it into two cars. we drove to the nearby charity store and dropped it all off. on the way out we saw a little doll house that had all the peices and they gave it to us for free! Samya was so excited! Then we got dinner out and got the whole family some shoes.
Today we had over some friends we recently made here on ft drum. Oddly enough we made them thru craigslist. there are lots of other moms here who don't have a lot of friends either. I passed onto them some of our kids clothes they've outgrown.
We went shopping for food on Friday and spent more money than we have ever before. we filled up two carts fully and spent over 300 dollars. For our family of four that is a lot.
we finally got the prius working by buying a brand new battery for it. Now we have two working cars!!
Let's see, what else? Not much, just the norm. going on here. Write to me and tell me whats new with you! -hgrm

fun weeks continue on

This week I felt like a truely bad mom at one point. Tosh, our 3 year old, cries a lot still. I wait till he comes to me to figure out why he's crying and by that point he is usually ready to stop crying. Well, I was downstairs when I heard Tosh crying again. I waited for him to come to me to tell me what had happened. He just kept on crying. I finally got fed up with him crying and not coming to me so I got up to go find him. Samya found me about half way and said something about Tosh. I knew I was in trouble then bc if SR can't help him she either hit him herself, or he is really crying about being hurt. I found him stuck in the stairwell. I mean literally stuck. He had his arm cinched between the railing and the wall right where it ended. Somehow he had finessed his hand into a weird position getting it stuck. I fandangled it out without an issue but his poor hand was red and I felt like the worst mom ever. Good thing he is fine now.
On a sillier note, earlier this month I went to Friendlys to get my icecream birthday cake. I stood at the take-out window waiting to get rung up with samya as my traveling buddy when she spotted the flowers that Friendly's had planted in thier little garden. Samya went right over and pulled the whole plant out of the ground. A couple standing in line behind me began to laugh. I was so glad they found it funny instead of yelling at me or her. Then she picked each flower off the plant and gave it to me saying happy birbay mommy! (happy birthday) Friendly's was friendly about it. the cashier said it was perfectly okay even still, I had samya plant/put as well as a four year old can the plant back in the ground. It was a sacrificial present on the plants behalf.
Tosh and Samya are both doing great now. They have made instant friends with the neighbors who are 5 and 7. They play outside almost all day and run in and out of the house constantly. I feel like I'm a mommy to four kids now instead of 2. And I'm beginning to feel what it's like to have older kids, with constant friends in our house, over for dinner and I can even imagine what it's like to have Samya's friends over for sleepovers now.
To answer some questions, Warrent Officer is just a special rank in the US Army. It is like a specialist for whatever area they go into. So Ben will be a Warrent Officer for Hellicopter flight. He will be flying hellis when he gets deployed instead of fixing heaters and air conditioners like he does now. He will be flying only so many hours so hopefully he'll be gone less than a year from here on out (for deployment). There is still a lot of steps between specialist (which he is now, as in specialist in HVAC) and warrent officer. Ben is first going to try for sargeant, then put in his papers for flight school and still has to be recommended and accepted by the board, etc. Plus his three year mark is in August so we will need to move to wherever they send us as soon as they send us.
So what's new with you? love ya -hgrm

Tuesday, June 21, 2011

this week has been adventurous.
We had a yard sale this weekend. One day = one hundred dollars. Pretty good, we think. So we're going to have another on Saturday! Just don't look in our garage til it's over.
We were at walmart when we had our first ever experience with lost children. We have been lucky enough in all our four years so far to have not lost a child anywhere. Well now we can't say that much cuz we lost Samya on Saturday.
Daddy went to get one last thing, and I went to check out. the kids followed dad so I assumed dad was right behind Samya when I saw her a few minutes later near the clothes. Then Ben came over asking where Samya was. By then we had been looking for a few minutes and continued to check out the groceries. Ben continued to look unsuccessfully. When we had checked out I told Ben, who was freaking out by now, to go take the groceries and Tosh out to the car and bring it up front. I would find Samya bc I know how she thinks. First thing I did was put out a code Adam for a missing child. it didn't take long for someone to find her. she hadn't left the clothing area. She had gone shopping! I found her with clothes and a purse, ready for checkout. she started crying when I told her we had to go home without the clothes, she kept saying how pretty the clothes were, and they fit her, and she wanted to take them home. cute girl, so girly!
A few other things have happened this week but you know me and my memory. I stink at remembering things all at once so if I remember more, I'll write more. that's all for now. thanks for reading! -hgrm

futurreeee

Bens plans for the future are: Sign up for more years in the army since his original three years are up this year. Move to wherever they let us go, hopefully hawaii. Go to retraining for a month then go to Warrent Officer school for three months in Georgia whenever he finally hands in his paperwork for warrent officer school. Who knows when that'll be. He has to get ahold of his old school records and wait for other officers to sign papers, then wait for the board to approve him. In the meantime he is working on getting sargeant. this also takes paperwork and a boards approval as well but it'll mean a nicer house and more pay. They still have yet to get back to us about where we might be living next or when we're moving. In army time, it might take years. who knows
The kids are still doing great. Tosh isn't talking much more but seems to get aggrivated now that we can't understand him. He also gets mad when the dog steals his toys or crayons. The dog is becoming a nausence bc he chews on all the toys the kids have that are plastic so we end up throwing them out. Tosh cries about Joey stealing things from right in his hand but I can't understand what he says most of the time so I can't help. Only today did I realize this is such a problem for poor low-to-the-ground Toshypoo. Samya loves to pick the dog up and she won't be fooled by him. She certainly won't let him steal any of her food or toys from her hands. She is getting very smart and tells me how we need to put all of her toys up high so the dog can't eat them.
She now figures out ways to get high up herself. She pulled a computer chair into the kitchen, climbed up it to the counter, stood up and now can reach the top shelve where mommy hides her cookies!! well needless to say I don't 'hide' anything there anymore. I have no more hiding spots now that I am determined to stay on Nutrisystem.
Tosh is no closer to potty training still. any ideas? Samya is cute. she picks a movie on Netflicks to watch and for every movie she says it is her favorite.
Ben is enjoying the nice weather to go golfing in and next weekend we are having a garage sale. we have soo much stuff to put up for sale. it takes up more than one closet in our house. we still have baby items even. so anyone who wants stuff, come by this weekend!
I've been listening to Adele often, rediscovered circle puzzles and needlework and discovered Paradise Island app for my phone. The kids are nice enough to spend time watching movies so I can do these things when I need my alone time. How I love them. Can't get much better than it is now. So how are you doing Elsa? Since you're the only one who reads this I should just address it to you... hehe Love ya -hgrm

thingamachoo

Samya and Tosh love using sidewalk chalk. It's thier new fav. toy and it only cost a buck at walmart.
This morning when the hubby came home for lunch I took a ride down the street on his new bicycle. I was unaware that Samya was running down the street after me! Good thing daddy came to the rescue in the car after her. Gave me a scare to find all this out.
Samya decided to raid the fridge today. she came upstairs with her finger stuck in the hole of the parmesean cheese container. I held my breath coming downstairs and sure enough, there was parmesean cheese all over our coffee table. Samya didnt give any reason, just said she wanted some water. :D wonder why...
Ben and I have been devouring my birthday cake this year. We bought Friendly's Wattamelon icecream cake. Sherbet, watermelon icecream and chocolate chunks; it doens't get much better than this. I have missed Friendly's on the west coast. they certainly need to take Friendlys to more warmer climates (seeing as it is an icecream shop.)
Somethings I am looking forward to are getting the backyard fully fenced so the dog will stop going around the house. Looking forward to my Nutrisystem coming in the mail so I can lose more weight. Looking forward to when we can finally go visit CT again.
slightly looking forward to when I have something exciting to write in here. love ya'll

Joey

wamachoo-choo

It's raining like crazy here in northern NY. The weather has knocked over our outdoor patio set and knocked out our internet as well. Just in time to feed our newly planted strawberry plants tho!
We recently signed up for Netflix for a free month to try it out. THe kids love having Dora on demand. That's down now due to the thunderstorm.
I love thunderstorms actually. The dog goes crazy, the kids start crying, but I just look at the rain falling down and watch for flashes of lightning. What's your opinion on T-storms?
I finally got the whole house unpacked. We got all our pictures hung, got rid of the boxes and it feels like a home now.
So, who wants to come over?
Ben placed his papers in for renewing his contract with the army. He gets to choose his new PCS (station) so his requests were as follows: 1 hawaii 2 germany 3 California
he tells me its not worth it to get a job on base bc we might be moving in as little as one month! And I just barely got the house unpacked!!
I got some lovely birthday gifts in the mail today. my favorite part was the card I got with a pic of a cat on the front. It said Birthdays are like cats. One day you wake up and it's right in front of you.
so much like cats. always there for you.
speaking of pets, our dog has found the best places to sleep are exactly where you don't want him like in the middle of a stair, or on top of your head when you're lying in bed. If he weren't so boney that might work...but atleast he's warm. We named him Joey. Barks at strangers, everyone but us actually, but  he is cuter than many dogs. I posted a pic of FB of him sleeping on the stairs, right in the way.
Purchased the new Adele CD. I recommend it. I LOVE her voice. I also recommend reading The Guardian by nicholas sparks. (author of The Notebook)
Spent 4 hours yesturday running errands but now my husband has his newly cleaned and pressed suit, the kids are fully registered for school/daycare, and I have new books to read to the kids, and read for myself of course. What type of books do I like? I like mysteries. Usually I like them to have a tad bit of romance in them and always have a happy ending. I don't understand too much lawyer jargen so those are out. Romance novels themselves are usually too obscene if you know what I mean. I'm very picky about my books, and my food but man do I love restuarants and book stores.
Hope tomorrow is a great day for us all! thanks for reading -the moody fam

the weekend

Weekends are great! But they are boring too.
What's new at la casa de Moody?
Well we finally got a wireless router so we have internet all over our house now.
We also hired a professional cleaner to help me finish unpacking the house. They cleaned up too so now our house looks fabulous!! we can have people over again!
My husband just took a mysterious trip to the store. I have no idea what he got at the store but I do know my birthday is coming up next week.
We were going to do something fun this weekend but our planned date, a night at the drive-in, has come up short. or late I should say. The first movie doesn't start until atleast nine and the second movie doesn't start til around midnight. call us old farts but Ben and I just don't stay up that late anymore. we want to see the movies and we love the experience but we go to bed around ten every night. old folks? maybe...
Our little chihuahua is cute and happy as ever but I still can not find my camera. I did manage to find my missing Ipod. it's been mia since our vacation in April. and so has my camera. hhmm
so there's our unexciting life in the last few days. Till next time!

So there you have our family. SamyaRose is four. She has her mothers brown hair with her dads straighness and her mothers green eyes. Tosh Benjamin is 3 now with his birthday only days ago. He has blonde hair like his father did when he was young, with beautiful blue eyes.
Our current situation is this: Tosh is having troubles potty training. He is deathly afraid of the potty. He won't even go on a small toilet. He has absolutely no interest in getting rid of his diapers although now he tells us when he needs to be changed and he also likes wearing big boy SpongeBob underwear.
He is a little behind developmentally. He says a few words that everyone can understand. Then he has a few words that only mom and dad can understand. the rest is mumbo-jumbo and Tosh talk.
Samya did the same thing when she was learning how to talk. it took her a little while to figure out how to correspond with other people. Potty training for her was a cinch. She took to it like a metal to a magnet. Now we are waiting for her preschool to start in August so she can be around other little kids who will help her with all her social skills. Right now, if there are children at the park, she won't go play. she will watch them but is too shy to say hello or play near them. We are working on counting and colors with her right now. She currently counts like so: one through ten she has down, then its 11, 14, 17, 18, 19, 11, 14,etc, etc. I think it's cute but as her mother she doesn't do much that isn't cute to me.
a lot of people don't realize how crazy the schedule is for active military. My husband is currently gone on duty, which is 24hr work for him. He left this morning at 9am and will return home at 9am tomorrow morning. They get the following day off but it messes up his sleep schedule. Not to mention the kids and I don't get to see him all day. These things are common in the Army, without any prior warning too. I guess the life of an army wife is too last minute for me.
I applied for a position on base at the hotel but I guess it is an open position so who knows when they'll be doing interviews?! Ben encourages me to do schooling while he's in the army but my problem is school itself. I am not good at it. plus I can't decide what I want to do with my life. Being a mom is all I ever wanted to be. Never thought about afterwords before.
any ideas about what I should do for schooling?
Craigslist has been good to us lately. We have sold Ipods and random household items on there and gotten our dog from there. If I remember I will post pics of our little chocolate chihuahua as soon as I find my camera again. I am sooo good at losing things. Too bad I can't make that into a career.
Well that's all that is going on with our Moody family for now. I'm sure I'll be back again soon as I find my days empty here and there. Thanks for reading. talk to you soon!
