Me and the house:
We recently bought a whole bunch of needed new house goodies and now our home is nearly complete. We are waiting for our tax return this year to get all the rest of the items on our list for the house. Those include a bunk bed for the kids, a grill, a coffee table, things like that. I am excited to go shopping for all those items so our house will be complete! We will have a house warming party shortly thereafter. I think I'm more excited for that than anything else.
We recently purchased a rug doctor, a big purchase for our house as well since our dogs are not fully potty trained yet.
I am starting a weight loss program again. I started it a few weeks ago, exercising every day and eating less. We'll see how it goes becuase I have a lot of weight to lose.
I enjoy most days at home with the kids, going swimming everyday, working out of course, making a dinner that we can all sit down to eat and ocassionally shopping too.
I love the new town that we live in. There are some stores nearby, Target, Home Depot, Kmart and Costco. As well as McDonalds, KFC and Outback for food. Speaking of food, I found my new favorite drink. It is a carbonated pink lemonade from France. Soooo good. Too bad it's 2.75 a bottle here. :)
I've been watching a lot of Bones lately. We have Netflix now so I've caught up on all 6.5 seasons. I am all Boned out. Yet, that is still my favorite show.
The Kids:
We went to Wet N Wild on Saturday and the kids had a blast. They loved the kiddie pools and slides. Ben and I took turns watching the kids while the other went on the adult slides. We spent all day there and then went mini golfing before taking a nap and eating dinner to finish our wonderful day. Sunday we went to our next door neighbors for a little football (the kids ate and watched a movie) and the rest of the day we cleaned up the house/garage area.
Ben:
Says he's gonna retake his flight school entry test in March. He's loving work becuase everything and everyone is new to him. He loves where we live and is constantly working outside and in our new house to make it beautiful and exactly how he would like it. He enjoys playing his kill-the-Zombies game and has found new friends online that he can play with. He is so sweet in letting the kids and I get whatever we need.
So that's our family update. We'll talk again in a few years, okay? Oh alright, maybe I'll try writing again sooner than that. If you're lucky! :)
